"Shardana" is the name of the bread boat, but it is also the term attributed by the ancient Egyptians to the Sardinian people. The artist draws inspiration from the history and tradition of his land, the result of various researches, experiments and assemblages of various materials, the use of carasau bread which is a symbol of ancient tradition and can become artistic material as in this case.
Mixed technique… with carasau bread incorporated in resin on wooden support.
