Gilad Ophir is an award-winning Israeli photographer whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in the United Kingdom, Germany, the United States, and China. He describes his works in recent years as being an investigation of the place, complete with "its crises and cultural baggage", translated through visual and material abstraction. Ophir's distinctive photography-based mixed media compositions always convey theoretical and ideological expressions.
