About this artwork
The work shows the vision of a summer night, a light breeze blowing confetti from a party. With her work, Gina would like to take the viewer into another world full of light and colors. She uses a real situation as a starting point to create the new, imaginary world from it.
Most of her pictures have crystalline structures in the background, this is because she is fascinated by reflection and crystals. Gina tries to capture the light in her pictures… and break it into "a thousand" colors as if through a prism.
Gina's work moves in the border areas between painting and drawing, abstraction, figuration and geometry, between illusion and reality and a dash of irony.
The summer wind carries all wonderful, warm moments and experiences with it.
