About this artwork
For me, painting this miniature is an expression of pure freedom. I wanted to see how much energy I could pack into a small space through color alone, letting the vibrant, thick layers of red almost "vibrate" in a small format. The process was completely spontaneous—I didn't follow a plan, but instead let the movement of the paint dictate the composition.
By creating this painting on archival mat board, I am engaging in a more conscious way of making… art. I find a unique creative freedom in taking these high-end, museum-grade fragments—materials with a beautiful texture and permanent quality—and transforming them into a foundation for bold abstraction. It is about being intentional with my resources and proving that professional, expressive art can coexist perfectly with a sustainable philosophy.
