About this artwork
I was a visiting artist in Fairbanks Alaska, where I was fascinated by the sinusoidal rivers against the distant mountain ranges. Having lived in Maine for several years, I thought I was used to rural life. However, Alaska's vast wilderness on the edges of the towns was far more present.

Gina is a respected American painter with international residency and exhibition experience. Influenced partly by Abstract Expressionism and primarily by her visual environment, she experiments with oils, acrylics, spray paint and stencils to create layered, abstract works.
