About this artwork
Banshee is a nature spirit with human features. To paint the apparition of this female figure on the canvas, I used the colors of the photographic negative: using this palette allows me to evoke a more dreamlike and less realistic atmosphere (try inverting the colors of the image and you'll see a new painting).
