The artist has created a portrait of a human face that appears to have tribal features.
What is most striking about this work is the use of colours. The artist used a combination of warm and cool tones, including blue, green, fuchsia and yellow, to create a vibrant and dynamic effect.
The painting appears to have a thick coat of paint, which gives it a very tactile feel. One almost has the impression that one can touch and feel the rough surface… of the face.
The work has a strong visual presence and, at the same time, seems almost ethereal, almost as if the face is emerging from another dimension. The final effect is somewhat mysterious and enigmatic, and one feels drawn to look at the work longer to try to understand its meaning.
