About this artwork
This work is created by subtracting threads from the canvas in order to obtain solid, empty, and transparent spaces. The fluorescent color is applied on the reverse side of the canvas so that it reflects onto the white wall. The protagonist of the work is, in fact, the inner space of the canvas – the space between the canvas and the wall – which fills with shimmering color that changes with the light and the wall.
In this piece, I explored the… delicate dance between soft textures and gentle colors, weaving emotion into every brushstroke. The interplay of acrylic and cotton creates a tactile rhythm that invites calm reflection. It brings a serene, soothing energy—perfect to transform any space into a peaceful sanctuary filled with subtle harmony and balance.
