About this artwork
It is my representation of the famous David of Michelangelo, however, from behind in a provocative way with all its female liquidity !!! .
This work and another are the only ones dedicated to men. They are certainly forerunners of my approach to the male world that will see a future production.
The use of resin allowed me to make the figure magical, mysterious and sensual.
The reference to Michelangelo's David is because I adore that sculpture… in which the body is only beauty and in its beauty it represents a gentle boldness and in its youth the strength to overcome apparently impassable obstacles.
In my David the protagonist is seen from behind he made his heroic gesture and is returning to his life, like all of us.
