About this artwork
In capturing this piece, artist wanted to blend the simplicity and beauty of nature with the intriguing layers of human emotion. This painting, created with oil, is an expression of joy and tranquility, painted in a style that marries impressionism with minimalism. The vibrant, stylized flowers set against a serene teal backdrop invite the viewer to find peace and happiness. Each brush stroke and color choice was motivated by a desire to create a… calm, yet uplifting atmosphere in any space it adorns.

Glib Franko is an experienced Ukrainian artist whose works have been exhibited throughout the UK, Ukraine and Poland. Inspired early on by a father who was a watercolour painter and a mother who worked in textiles, he finds his own aesthetic and creative pleasure in testing out different colours, textures and shapes through painting. His work is fragmentary and experimental, and exudes mystery, harmony and symbolism, and his aesthetic stands out for its blossoming colours and lines.
