About this artwork
In this spirited creation, I've unified the vivacity of pop art with the grace of fine art, using acrylics and sprays for dynamic texture. A sneaker transforms into a canvas where playfulness dances with sophistication, and the butterfly, a metaphor for change, perches poetically, symbolizing transformation. Bringing this piece into your space promises an infusion of energy, a touch of whimsy, and a constant reminder of life's vibrant metamorphosis.

« All I want is to surprise myself with greater work than I ever dreamed of doing. »
Gregor Zitko is a Slovenian artist whose paintings have been featured in several solo and group exhibitions nationally. He describes his art as a mirror of both his thoughts and desires, as well as a record of the time in his life when each piece was created. Zitko endeavors to create in a spontaneous manner, allowing his subconscious to "do the work". His striking pieces are created with acrylics and oils on canvas.
