The artist's concept is to create one romantic love couple portrait among peonies, as generally symbolic of love, honor, happiness wealth, romance, and beauty, the peony is traditionally given on special occasions as an expression… of goodwill, best wishes, and joy. The artwork's trait is to present the world solely from a subjective perspective, distorting it radically for emotional effect in order to evoke moods or ideas.
