About this artwork

I created this work not for humans, but for chickens—the very animals depicted here. I'm interested in whether art can function beyond our human perception—whether form, color, and material appeal to living beings that respond without prejudice. "The Golden Cage" is part of my "Huniverse" series, created as part of the "Against Waiting" project.
