About this artwork
In this work, I want to make stillness visible. The mind is fragile, dissolved into lines, shadows, and movement. For me, it stands on the threshold between inside and outside, a being that simultaneously searches and lets go. I worked with spray paint and markers, layering, cutting lines, and opening up surfaces. The material was allowed to react, breathe, and make mistakes. The bright shapes in the darkness are stars in the vastness of space, a distant destination full of possibility. For me, they are part of the same idea that underpins my entire "Guardian Spirits" series: that the great lives on in the small, and that even the fragment contains the whole.
