Gyslaine Pachet Micheneau used an oil painting with colors a little more contrasted than reality to give strength and harmony to this navy of Biarritz in the Basque country and the Atlantic Ocean. Lost in the distance, we imagine the Rhune which has structured this navy. The house, or rather the small castle rises above the ramparts which surround it, it dominates the ocean and at its feet the water… comes to die on the rocks. The reflections in shades, blue, mauve and white which emerge in the water give a beautiful light to this set. In the foreground, flowers and herbs cling to the hill, while below the rocks frame the shore. The gaze is attracted by these colors and it leads us towards an unknown destiny made of wealth and pleasure. It invites to escape and fullness. This is why this figurative work was created.
