About this artwork
If I had to choose just one, it would be this one. "Western" is a painting created as a tribute to cinema and graphic novels. It is presented in the form of a "false triptych": three painted panels separated by a black margin. Here, I wanted to tell, in paint and in an abstract language, a story in three images. The texture, added with sand and crackled medium, gives the whole a mineral aspect while the warm colors recall the rocky deserts that inhabit…
