About this artwork
In this piece, I explored the quiet tension between clarity and mystery, using black base to create a spectral, almost haunting atmosphere. The minimalistic, semi-abstract forms invite the viewer to discover hidden figures, provoking a sense of introspection and intrigue. This painting was based upon the sad beaching of the dolphins in percuil river around 2008.
