About this artwork
Pool explores the sensation of fluidity and weightlessness I experience when swimming, diving, and scuba diving. Underwater landscapes are a constant inspiration in my work, and here I use flowing pigments to echo the shimmering, shifting effects of light and water. The colors bleed and merge like currents, creating a sense of immersion and suspension within the painting.
