About this artwork
Today they appear very conservative on the outside. The color brown has been replaced by blue. But the same thinking is still in their heads, all the hatred, the intolerance towards everything foreign and different.
They are the followers of the Nazis and their tyrant and mass murderer Adolf Hitler. Nip it in the bud, in 1933 the terrible disaster had already taken its course.

Hans Batschauer is a German painter who exhibits nationally and internationally in both group and solo exhibitions.
Originally painting with oil and acrylic, since 2021 he has focused entirely on digital painting in the style of New Surrealism.
He creates “transformative and mysterious paintings,” as he himself writes, which convey a unique visual language of suggestive power in luminous colors.
In doing so, he does not imitate classical painting techniques, but creates complex hybrid compositions using a whole range of digital tools.
At the heart of his often symbolically and religiously charged picture stories is man with his feelings, dreams and longings.
