"On Certainty" is part of the Artist's Lecture "The 10,000 Things", inspired by Chinese philosophy (Daoism).
The given constellation of the multilayered signs might remind us of a state of an inner equilibrium. – Once as a young man in a bookshop in London I found a book by the Austrian philosopher Ludwig Wittgenstein. It's title was "On Certainty".

Harald Gsaller is an award-winning digital painter/draftsman, photographer, and writer based in Vienna/Austria/Europe whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in China, Italy, Spain, France, Switzerland, and the United States. The artist draws inspiration from the heritage of Western philosophy, rhetorics, science, popular culture, and art. In recent years his artistic expression has been heavily influenced by (Chinese) Taoist philosophy and visual culture.
