About this artwork
Ballet has been one of my passions and I am imbued with the magical movement of the bodies as well as those brief moments in which the statism of the poses of the feet, whose forms are exalted with a touch of light. I captured this image with a 35mm camera, black and white film Ilford 125 ISO, and I enlarged it on Ilford fiber paper/ Silver bromide

« "Taciturn spaces where men are blurred by an atmospheric haze as they wander between pool tables and old hotels. Their architectural forms are mixed with those of a timeless woman character." »
Harold Rodriguez is a Colombian photographer whose work has been exhibited in his homeland and in Germany. His first experience in the darkroom captivated him from the start. For Rodriguez, the silent moment during development is a sigh in time in which the image appears and “magically infects with a light epiphany”, representing the rawness of the photographic act. He is inspired by landscapes, while light captured on human skin is also prevalent in his work.
