About this artwork
flower face
Acrylic on canvas, 40 × 40 × 2 cm, 2012
"Flower Face" is a work that deliberately blurs the line between figuration and abstraction. Organic, flowing forms unfold like flower petals, while contrasting fields of color suggest a subtle human presence. The painting feels like an inner portrait—a face that is not depicted, but felt.
The dynamic brushstrokes in violet, magenta, and blue create a vibrant movement reminiscent of growth,… transformation, and emotional unfolding. White accents open up the space and lend the work an almost meditative lightness. "Flower Face" invites us to experience the connection between nature and humanity as something fluid, changeable, and profound.
A work that doesn't describe, but touches – an abstract expression of inner blossoming.

My greatest inspirations have always been artists who revolutionized our understanding of art. I'm particularly fascinated by Dalí's "Fantastic Realism." In my works, I combine hidden faces, architectural structures, and colorful landscapes. My central theme is the complex, intangible world and the role of humans in it.
