As soft as moss in the first morning light, a golden thread threads its way through the wax and fabric. Delicate shadows spread beyond the edges, preserving a fleeting hint of nature.
"Interwoven Silence" invites the viewer to wander between fragility and timelessness—where memory and material merge in the soft light. I use lime putty and marble dust as a base in my encaustic works to create natural cracks and texture. Lime putty hardens over time,… while marble dust imparts a soft luminosity. The cracks emerge naturally, and I accentuate them with inks before applying encaustic beeswax. This creates depth and an organic, weathered appearance, inspired by nature and old surfaces.
The Art of Fusion... is what gives Hasina Khan’s work its striking versatility and unique character. With a deep curiosity and an experimental approach, she explores the boundaries of various techniques and seamlessly merges them into a harmonious whole. Her artistic journey began with photography, which remains a central element of her work. In addition to cyanotype and abstract painting, she is particularly drawn to encaustic painting—an ancient technique in which molten beeswax and pigments blend to create captivating, tactile surfaces. Through the curiosity, spontaneity, the interplay of texture, colorant light, she creates in her Artstudio in Wiesbaden artworks that are both visually and physically engaging. Her name stands for creative Fusion- ArtFusion Hasina
