About this artwork
After a period of more representational painting, I wanted to paint again, free from form and motif. I was interested in impulsive creation in the color space of friendly pastel reddish and pink colors. I let myself be carried along by the dynamics of the painting process, and thus, after many phases of building up and tearing down individual sections, the character of this painting slowly emerged, which could be formed into a unified whole in the…
final stages. I let whatever needed to be done while painting happen, and thus, impulsive creativity created this modern, friendly painting with the positive message: "let it happen!"
