About this artwork
The painting features a life-size hazel dormouse, these beautiful little creatures are considered England's most threatened species at risk of extinction. I was inspired by the ambitious 'Back from The Brink' conservation project which aims to reverse this downward trend and save twenty of UK's most endangered species.
