I paint with acrylics on 140 lb. cold-press watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings.
Pig and Roses - an early whimsical painting. It was my 2nd pig painting, at the time I was also painting pear still lifes, I added a few pears for fun and olor. , I was born in the year of the Pig, which I began to embrace during… my travels. In Mexico there were fun loving piglets running through the villages. In Thailand, I saw a beautiful porcelain pig which had been a prized gift to a queen who had also been born in the year of the Pig. Pigs are content with life and bring good luck!
