I paint with acrylics on 140lb. watercolor paper, using the process of layering the paint and scratching back to reveal unique colors and textures in my paintings
Wolf is a new painting. It’s a night scene of a wolf feeling threatened or threatening something with the full moon behind him. It’s not my typical theme. We have an older cat whose health is declining. I thought of the wolf as a symbol of… my fear of my beloved kitty passing on. The full moon symbolizes how emotional it’s been. I know Tuxie will be transitioning soon; and it saddens me.
