About this artwork
This work was created by using the effect of paint, gravity and the wind. The game of movement and change. What we need in these times is connection. We can rely on the field of relationships. Nothing is available separately. The multiplicity is essentially partakers of the same thing, that is, it comes from the same source. And is expressed in many forms. That trust in that unity is what I am practicing in my work.
« Everything in the world revolves around connection. One thing leads to another, nothing is available separately. »
Henrie Vogel is an experienced artist based in the Netherlands whose paintings have been featured in numerous solo exhibitions nationally. Identifying with the New Materialism movement, his works center around the concept of connection. For Vogel, this connection is translated through an intuitive dialogue with the material. He most often creates with acrylics, oils, ink, and pigments on canvas.
