About this artwork
Cave painting, something has been enclosed and preserved in the ice for over 1000 years, a shadowy appearance under the ice. River spirits? Everyone discovers something different. Made with copper oxidized to bring about the mysterious deep glow. Furthermore with acrylic and watercolor as well as sand to get a relief-like surface

« My idea is not to show the viewer what they have to see but to give them space to let their imaginations run wild. »
Henriette Simon is a German painter and draftsman who has exhibited nationally, in the United States and Italy. Her art translates a curiosity of the world and its inhabitants,
as well as observations of nature blended with fantasy, myths, and legends. Simon's abstract expressionist compositions are the result of her experimentations with varying mediums. She creates with acrylics, sand, gouache, watercolors, pastels, and charcoal on canvas, paper, or cardboard.
