I wrote the kanji character 夢, "dream."
In this work, the fusion of deliberate lines and accidental damage is expressed. This piece was miraculously preserved at the very brink of collapse into trash.
In Zen philosophy, the world we live in is as fleeting as a dream we experience while asleep. Because of this, it is considered important to live each moment with care and mindfulness.
Life is short and only lived once. Because humans will eventually… die, being alive is precious and grateful. Precisely because life is short, this piece embodies the desire to cherish each day and each moment above all else, and to live fully without regrets.
« I find the coolness and beauty in daily life and try to express it in my own way. »
