Discover the creation in interiors
In creating this oil painting, I wanted to capture a deep, raw emotion through an expressionist lens. The intense gaze and muted yet profound colour palette evoke a sense of introspection and subtle tension. In this work, I aim to explore the complex landscape of human feelings and the fleeting inner moments that define us, hoping to inspire viewers to contemplate their own inner depth. This piece will infuse any space with a powerful emotional presence,…
offering a continuous connection to the intricate narratives of the human experience.

Raised amidst solitude and pain, Horace Johnson sought refuge in his creative endeavors, gradually escalating from spoon sculptures to mesmerizing paintings. He delicately uses techniques like glazing and collage to morph pre-existing subjects into surreal entities, navigating themes of beauty preservation, vanity, and obsession. His works, a visceral exploration of subjective perfection, speak to the soul, coaxing audiences to grapple with their perceptions of self and beauty.
