About this artwork
A colour photograph inspired this pencil drawing. I can’t recall the image itself — only the light, the contrast, and the bird’s intense alertness — a moment that whispered “Eye… Spy… Alert… Ready…” It stirred something deep within me. The Kittiwake’s flight became a parable: of opportunity seen, decision made, and purpose pursued.
