Rainbows End began with a friend’s photo that stirred my imagination. It made me want to paint the joy and playfulness of dolphins and the deep delight they spark in humans. To add more symbolism, I painted the children inside the Zorb ball capturing that feeling of carefree, childlike wonder. The “Joy Bubbles” rising from the ball remind us how simple play can fill the atmosphere with happiness. Rainbows, oceans, and sunlight speak of divine beauty… we often overlook or fail to remember. This painting is a prayer of gratitude — a call to remember, rejoice, and protect childlike joy. I’ve swum with dolphins and orcas, and each encounter felt like a gift from my Creator. In a world full of noise and worry, we must pause, give thanks, and play again. Imagination is sacred — a doorway to hope, healing, and liberation. https://ianandersonfineart.com/product/dolphins-rainbow-zorb-ball-and-childrens-delight/
Ian Anderson is a versatile painter, photographer, conceptual and digital artist whose rich background spans oil painting, illustration, airbrushing, leather carving, sculpture, and commercial art. His hyper-photorealistic technique dazzles with surreal twists, infusing humour, impressionism, and evocative mixed media, most notably in oils and pencil. Anderson’s works brim with metaphoric and parabolic imagery, bridging the spiritual and natural realms, and evoke a sense of wonder, self-reflection, and a deep, heartfelt reverence for life’s mysterious connections.
