About this artwork
This work explores separation not as a boundary, but as a condition that reveals form and presence. The central divide—suggesting both a river and a fracture—creates a space where distance allows each side to emerge more clearly.
The striped structures are inspired by zebra patterns, reflecting my connection to animals and nature. These patterns are not decorative; they are systems of identity and rhythm. By translating them into abstraction, I bring… an element of the living world into a more introspective space.
The contrast between the structured black-and-pink forms and the soft, creamy center highlights the tension between clarity and ambiguity. Deep purples add emotional depth, while the lighter upper space suggests openness and stillness.
Here, separation becomes a way of seeing.
