About this artwork
In "Moon Being," I combine the heart and the moon into a single figure that represents the interplay of feeling and intuition. The head is shaped like the moon—a symbol of cycles, transformation, and inner wisdom. The torso is designed as a heart, the center of sensation and vitality. The ornamental structures are reminiscent of cells or energy fields, revealing that we are composed of countless living impulses. The raised, luminescent lines begin…
to glow in the dark—for me, an allegory that our inner light becomes particularly palpable when the outside world is still or dark. With this work, I explore the question of how we can remain connected to our inner essence.
