About this artwork
In my painting "Call of the Sun," I explore the inner yearning for light, origin, and transformation. Two figures follow the sun's call, moving toward its radiant center. Their bodies gradually dissolve into a network of lines, colors, and paths of light. For me, this process symbolizes the letting go of fixed boundaries: between individuals, between body and energy, between form and dissolution. I understand the sun as a source of consciousness…
and life force, whose rays not only attract the figures but also penetrate and transform them. As the painting progresses, the figures lose their clear contours and become part of the light itself. The work addresses an inner transformation process in which devotion, trust, and connection lead to a new form of being.
