About this artwork
Here the composition becomes more figurative. A female figure seems to grow out of the lines, as if music were taking on a physical form. I let the lines flow, intertwine, and unravel again—like melodies meeting one another. The suggested instrumental shapes reinforce the musical association without becoming concrete. I'm interested in how rhythm shapes identity. The staff pen lends a subtle order to the whole, yet the movement remains free. To me,…
