About this artwork
When I was a little girl lying in the bed I could feel a vast source around me. I could see the particles of energy moving all together around me. I also could became a particle, floating in the void, feeling as if I were one with everything. Feeling the immensity. Now, many years later, remembering this, I am working on this artwork series with acrylic, bioalcohol and fluor colors.

Iris Aneas is an award-winning Spanish painter who lives in the mountains surrounded by forests. To create, she needs to feel close to nature and her own inner-being. The themes in Aneas' works center around the protection, defense, and liberation of nature, along with the celebration of the feminine spirit. She approaches her artistic process by listening to what the blank space asks, stating that she transforms painting as painting transforms her.
