About this artwork
before covid started i was in high school and worked many random jobs. with the start of covid, time seemed endless but things felt more complicated. future came closer but i was not moving closer to my goals. this painting tells the story of this messy period that is young adulthood and combines it with the extra chaos that covid added. we tried out everything from hair styles and colours to clothes to room decor. it was chaotic and fabulous - impossible…
to recreate. this work carries that experimental and chaotic aura through the combination of furry and velvety leopard print fabric, glittery leopard pattern.
