About this artwork
In my work I have experimented with ink, which has a flowing, organic character. My semi-abstract drawing plays with contrast and texture and invites you to find your own interpretations. I want this art to bring energy and movement to any space, a dynamic presence that is eye-catching and thought-provoking at the same time. It's a piece of my passion that I share.

Iris Vitzthum is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Japan, China, and the United States. She describes her artistic process as originating from the observation of her surroundings. Searching for the substrate, Vitzthum says that she steals, destroys, lies, and exaggerates in her surreal compositions. She creates using acrylics, oils, pigments, and India ink on canvas.
