Emotions and the energy of nature flow together in my art. Using Indian ink, I created a semi-abstract work that offers the viewer a space for reflection. The dark contours contrast with the fine texture of the paper, creating an immersive atmosphere. This image will bring a powerful yet mysterious energy to any room and stimulate the imagination.

Iris Vitzthum is an award-winning painter and draftsman based in Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally, as well as in Japan, China, and the United States. She describes her artistic process as originating from the observation of her surroundings. Searching for the substrate, Vitzthum says that she steals, destroys, lies, and exaggerates in her surreal compositions. She creates using acrylics, oils, pigments, and India ink on canvas.
