About this artwork
In this painting, executed in acrylic on cardboard, I have dedicated myself to abstraction to capture the dynamic play between form and color. The smooth transitions from blue to green and the bold black strokes symbolize the eternal movement and change of life. It is a representation of the energy and emotions that flow through our daily existence and invites you to delve into the depths of your own interpretation. This work of art will create an… atmosphere of inspiration and contemplative calm in any home.
Irmtraut Behrens, an artist from Bremen, uses acrylic paint and canvas, but started with pastel chalk on cardboard. Her palette ranges from erotic images of women, abstract works to animal images. Her style is variable, always characterized by a strong sensitivity. Irmtraut's art embodies the feeling of joy. It makes her happy when someone decides to live with her works. In 1999 she moved to Husum on the beautiful North Sea coast with its wonderful light and cloud formations. Exhibitions in Schleswig-Holstein, Hamburg and Denmark were quite successful.
