About this artwork
This work is a still life. It depicts an old teapot and a plate of pies. I baked the pies myself, and their smell inspired me to create this piece. On top, there is a dog toy – a chicken. I really liked its shape. And it might symbolize something rural and playful, connected to nature.

I am a Vienna-based artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Passionate about painting since childhood, I studied at the art school of the Teacher’s House in Kyiv. After a successful career as an economist and banker, I returned to my creative roots, working in watercolor, oil, and later acrylics.
Since moving to Austria in 2019, I have honed my skills through private lessons, courses at the Vienna Adult Education Centre (VHS), and online studies with Natalia Nosyk’s art school. My works have been exhibited and recognized in competitions. My art reflects a confident use of color, light, and composition, inspired by nature, seascapes, and still life.
