About this artwork
I painted this piece from life during a plein air session in Alanya, Turkey, at sunset. In that quiet evening, the sky and sea seemed to dissolve into one another, softened by a calm, muted light.
A warm glow briefly breaks through the clouds, capturing a fleeting moment of silence, light, and stillness. Alongside that, it holds the wonderful mood of painting en plein air with the other girls.

I am a Vienna-based artist originally from Kyiv, Ukraine. Passionate about painting since childhood, I studied at the art school of the Teacher’s House in Kyiv. After a successful career as an economist and banker, I returned to my creative roots, working in watercolor, oil, and later acrylics.
Since moving to Austria in 2019, I have honed my skills through private lessons, courses at the Vienna Adult Education Centre (VHS), and online studies with Natalia Nosyk’s art school. My works have been exhibited and recognized in competitions. My art reflects a confident use of color, light, and composition, inspired by nature, seascapes, and still life.
