The combination of graphic vision and painterly sensibility form the basis for Isa Huss' creative expression. A main source of inspiration, the Moorish, adds a special atmosphere. With numerous layers of color, the artist creates delicate structures and contrasts that become clear in close-up. At the same time, a harmonious result is revealed from a distance.
Life leaves traces and scratches, which the artist deliberately highlights on the canvas. Her aim is to capture the individual energy in the act of painting: be it calm and concentration with a fine brushstroke or joy and strength with an energetic impulse. What is special about Huss' art is this combination of precision and expressiveness.
