A painted plexiglass mounted on a wooden frame. The paint refracts a variety of blue tones in the background in combination with the shadows of the paint, which will change depending on the light. A constant change, like in life, and water currents. A three dimensional effect that will keep our human minds in aw.
The heart of the sea. The warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea are home to at least 79 species of elasmobranch fish (45 shark species… and 34 ray species). With very saline, warm waters and little tidal movement, the Mediterranean Sea is home to an abundance of sea creatures. The color palette employed in the painting is dominated by hues of azure, cerulean, and deep cobalt, evoking the vast expanse of the Mediterranean Sea. The absence of strong tidal movements is conveyed through serene, undulating paint, creating a sense of tranquility and balance.
