In this piece, I wanted to capture the intensity of an emotional whirlwind, using black lines that intertwine like chaotic thoughts against a vibrant watercolor background. The energy flows and reverberates, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in an inner journey of confusion and clarity—a mirror of the soul in constant motion. This piece will fill any space with dynamic force and passionate color.

Islandy León Aguila, born in Cuba (1982), resides in Barcelona, Spain. A visual artist, he holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts (ISA) in Havana, Cuba (2007-2013). He also graduated as a painter and illustrator from the Leopoldo Romañach Professional Academy of Fine Arts in Villa Clara, Cuba (2000-2004). In his abstract paintings, he uses techniques and materials such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. He explores abstract expressionism inspired by nature, humanity, the macro and micro worlds, and astrophotography. His works evoke and interpret universes parallel to our surrounding reality, exalting the power of color and transporting the viewer to polysemous dimensions where dreams and reality merge into a sensory and emotional experience.
