About this artwork
This work expresses an explosion of intense emotions through vibrant colors and dynamic textures. Using acrylics, I focused on the chaotic energy and inner movement we feel during moments of transformation. I wanted to convey that vital force that awakens and fills any space with life, creating an atmosphere that invites reflection and a deep connection with oneself.

Islandy León Aguila, born in Cuba (1982), resides in Barcelona, Spain. A visual artist, he holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts (ISA) in Havana, Cuba (2007-2013). He also graduated as a painter and illustrator from the Leopoldo Romañach Professional Academy of Fine Arts in Villa Clara, Cuba (2000-2004). In his abstract paintings, he uses techniques and materials such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. He explores abstract expressionism inspired by nature, humanity, the macro and micro worlds, and astrophotography. His works evoke and interpret universes parallel to our surrounding reality, exalting the power of color and transporting the viewer to polysemous dimensions where dreams and reality merge into a sensory and emotional experience.
