About this artwork
In this piece, I captured the intensity of emotions in motion, using acrylics to create layers that vibrate with energy and contrast. I wanted to capture the power of change and inner freedom, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in a journey filled with light and shadow. Having it in your home will stir your spirit and awaken a sense of constant evolution.

Islandy León Aguila, born in Cuba (1982), resides in Barcelona, Spain. A visual artist, he holds a degree in Fine Arts from the University of the Arts (ISA) in Havana, Cuba (2007-2013). He also graduated as a painter and illustrator from the Leopoldo Romañach Professional Academy of Fine Arts in Villa Clara, Cuba (2000-2004). In his abstract paintings, he uses techniques and materials such as oil, acrylic, and watercolor. He explores abstract expressionism inspired by nature, humanity, the macro and micro worlds, and astrophotography. His works evoke and interpret universes parallel to our surrounding reality, exalting the power of color and transporting the viewer to polysemous dimensions where dreams and reality merge into a sensory and emotional experience.
