About this artwork
The Traveler is a unique collage on stone paper from the "Happy Woman" cycle: it depicts playful, light-hearted, sensual women. They oscillate between grace and strength, humor and silence. The unique cycle is an ode to women, life and love.
The high-quality, ecological stone paper is made from stone powder and binder. The colorants used, such as chalk, watercolor, graphite, pigment pencils or gouache, are composed. In my work, I combine acrylic,… collage, gouache and colored pencils to create a lively expression. The figure, depicted lively and naively, symbolizes a traveler whose body, like an open suitcase, represents various aspects of life. The heart is central to her - a metaphor for "Home is where the heart is". This image is intended to bring energy and a colorful personality to every home, reminding us that we can be at home wherever we put our hearts.

ISOLDEN is an experienced sculptor and painter from Germany whose works have been exhibited nationally as well as in Switzerland and France. At the age of eleven she was inspired by the mystery of the archaic stone figures on Easter Island. ISOLDEN works in stone, wood, bronze, wax and on paper and canvas. The motto of her artistic work is: Manifestos of the joy of life.
